2024 WGGB Tournament Results
Women Golfers Give Back was thrilled to host another successful Girls Clinic & Fundraising Tournament at St. Davids Golf Club in June 2024. Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, participants and supporters for making it a special day and helping WGGB raise funds for next year’s girls golf grantee programs.
The day started with a clinic for our younger grantees with LPGA and PGA pros, and a 7-hole competition for our older grantees. See photos of the girls in action and 7-hole tournament participants on the WGGB Facebook page.
During their lunch, we were honored to receive a $25,000 grant from DICK’S Sporting Goods’ Women’s Influential Network (WIN) to support our Players Programs! Michael Spease, Golf Galaxy Devon Store Manager, and Keeley Lockhart, DICK’s Northeast Regional Manager, presented the grant alongside dozens of our grantees. WIN’s mission is to inspire, support, and advocate for the empowerment of women to have the career lifestyle she dreams for herself, and funding includes sports programs for girls and youth.
After lunch, WGGB sponsors and supporters competed in a one best-ball tournament followed by cocktails and dinner. Once again, long-time WGGB supporter, LPGA Hall of Fame member, Val Skinner, graced us with her presence and beautiful swing on a par-3. See the photos of our afternoon tournament here!
