For Girls Age 7 to 17
First Tee Delaware is a program whose mission is to impact the lives of young girls by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Clinics are held at Porky Oliver Golf Course in Wilmington, DE.
The First Tee of Greater Philadelphia’s clinic program, implements girls-only programs which promote fun, self-improvement, and self-discovery while demonstrating the social and business applications that golf can offer women in the future. This program is inclusive to all youth with special emphasis on those who have not had previous exposure to the game of golf. Programs are held at FDR Golf Club and Walnut Lane Golf Club, both in Philadelphia, PA.

Valley Forge Girls’ Golf Classic High School Tournament has been held since 2012. WGGB has funded Patty Lebow and her Spring-Ford Girls Golf Classic held each September at the Linfield National Golf Club in Linfield, PA. Girls Golf of Valley Forge is a developmental junior golf program designed for girls, age 7 to 17. An important initiative is to provide high quality golf instruction and equipment at very affordable costs; financial aid scholarships are available to girls who qualify. Over 100 girls participate in programs each year. Clinics are held at Linfield National Golf Club, in Linfield PA, Spring Ford Country Club in Royersford, PA and Waltz’s Golf Farm in Limerick, PA.
LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of the Lehigh Valley, with the YWCA of Bethlehem as fiscal sponsor, provides skill training and golf etiquette to girls age 7 to 17 and has three locations; the Wedgewood Golf Course in Coopersburg, PA reaching residents of Lehigh County, the Southmoore Golf Course in PA targeting Northampton County residents, and the Wedgewood Golf Course in Coopersburg, PA, targeting girls in the Lehigh County.
